Tux Paint by Bill Kendrick
Cost: FREE!
Why it’s cool!
Tux Paint is a free program for kids to draw and paint on a computer. It is easy to use by kids as young as three years old.
There are funny sounds that go with different items, such as painting, erasing and stamping.
You can save your work and come back to it later. You can also print your work out.
There are pages that you can colour or decorate. I even use it to write a short story and letters to my cousins.
Is it entertaining, educational or a little of both?
Tux Paint is educational and fun.
I learned how to control the mouse to do different things when I was four years old. My favourite tool is “Magic”.
There are so many neat things I can create using Tux Paint.
Now that I am seven years old, I can do most of the things without any help from my mom or dad.
